As you guys know, I've collected live bootleg recordings for a while now. I don't do it much anymore but this one caught my eye because of its rarity. This is a recording of Beethoven live at Madison Square Garden in 1810! Apparently it was recorded during the North American leg of his "Ven in '10" tour. Did you guys know his nickname was 'Ven? I didn't. According to the newspaper clip that came with the tape, people tailgated all day and got super-wasted for the show. I wasn't aware of how rabid 'Ven's fans were! Also, the recording quality here is top-notch! Great find. Unfortunately, only one song has surfaced from this show so far but here it is...
